I haven’t heard about radar detectors until today. What are these, anyway? I’ve read that a radar detector is a passive electronic device used by motorists to detect if their speed is being monitored by a radar unit. I’ve also read that most radar detectors are used so the driver can reduce the car’s speed before being ticketed for speeding. Quite amazing for a gadget. I remember when I was driving in the freeway a couple of years ago, I was so conscious in my speed that I couldn’t drive properly. This is a nice way to monitor speed without being conscious and without affecting my driving. Now, the good news is, there is a site already that features all the best radar detectors. I don’t have to look everywhere. All I have to do is visit my site and all the important details are there. Such a great online find.

Kipling’s Zuri – The Lightweight Luggage

I’m planning another quick getaway and I’m so excited! It’s not the Branson vacation that I’ve been dreaming about for years now but it’s something nice too. The Branson vacation will have to wait since the kids are still young. An 18-hour or more flight would be a major problem so we will have to wait for a few more years. Too bad if I book it now I will get a discount. But well, I’m sure good deals can wait.

A Quick Shopping to the Mall

Well, that was yesterday. I had a quick trip to the mall yesterday to buy Hubby’s presents for me! Yes, for me since my birthday is coming in the next few days. I admit, it was hard choosing which one because I love all the Zara blouses, pants, and shoes. But since I just shopped there a couple of months ago, I decided to check out Rustan’s department store and see what they can offer. Surprisingly I saw two pairs of shoes that I fell in love immediately. I tried it on and oh, I can’t get it off my feet (and mind too!). I love both of it. So I bargained with Hubby until he agreed to give me both. (*grin*)

It was a quick shopping but it was one of the best. The kids were with us so I expected a really quick peak of what’s in the mall. So I just had to check out two shops. Anyway, the two wonderful shoes were not part of the wishlist. I even wanted Hubby to buy gold bullion as a gift. At least, I get to invest his gift and when the value goes up, I can sell it then buy more. It seems to be the best option right now. But well, everything changed when I saw the two pairs of shoes. LOL! Well, I can invest anytime, anyway. But being able to find the perfect shoes for my size 8 feet is a rare opportunity that I must grab. I realized that my current shoes are not in a really good condition already so buying those two are my best options.

As for investing, hopefully, very, very soon!

My Christmas List

A few more days and the month of September will be here! It means Christmas is just around the corner. I can’t believe how time flies. Now I need to start working on my Christmas list. This is actually my favorite part of Christmas. Making a list for family and friends on what to give them. For the family and friends abroad, will have to send them Christmas photo cards. I would want to have our picture as a family taken for this. I want it to be special and as much as possible give them our most recent photo. For me, it would nice to be able to receive a photo along with a few updates on how our year went, how the kids are and what we are planning in the next few years. My Mom in the US would love to receive this. I’m glad there are sites that help you make these type of photo cards. I’m checking out PearTreeGreetings.com for more ideas and hopefully will be able to finalize before the month of September ends.
