Goyard St. Louis Tote

I had to admit, the first time I saw this tote, I was just curious. The shape is interesting and it almost looks like LV’s Neverfull. I wasn’t impressed by the fabric because I love leather bags and this is not on my list. But I saw it again with Calista Flockhart in Brothers and Sisters series and I can’t help but wonder, what is it with this tote? So instead of looking for Outer Banks rentals for Mom who is having a vacation this summer, I can’t help but do some research on this tote.

I had a hard time, I tell you. Looking for the bag. It turned out that a lot of stars in Hollywood have been using and loving this tote already.

Check out more details about Goyard.

La Maison Goyard was founded in Paris in 1853, a year prior to Louis Vuitton. The company is world-renowned for luxurious handmade bags and trunks. As a malletier, special orders are their thing. The Goyard chevron motif resembles a herringbone pattern. It is entirely hand-painted with an understated, intricate series of tan or white dots. As for the canvas itself, even that’s special: a blend of cotton, linen and hemp covered with gum arabic to make it lightweight and waterproof.

So, what do you think? Is this tote worth the price?
