Aggie Wants to Know!

Topic No. 1: Life After the Wedding – the Married Life.

What are the things you want them to know about life after the wedding?

Just like Aggie we are also married for three years already. I’ve known Hubby for a short while only and I must say that I was scared a few weeks before our wedding day. I could say that I had the worst cold feet! I didn’t want to push through but thanks to Hubby’s assurance and persistence, the big day finally happened.

And now I never regretted on marrying Hubby. I think that was the best decision I have ever made in my whole life. We grew closer during our first few months. Yes there were fights and misunderstandings but everything was settled. Although there are times that we would sleep even if we are still mad at each other (which some people don’t agree with), we can’t help it, it’s just that we really need to cool things down before talking to each other again.

Aggie is right. Married life is no joke. It is actually a decision. A decision to love the person no matter what and in spite of his weaknesses. Easier said than done. But it really takes a lot of work to make the relationship work. But most important thing is that make God the center of the relationship and then everything will fall into place.

To make this short, marriage is a lot of hard work but I would still highly recommend it. But best when you marry the right person at the right time and at the right moment. How will know if he’s the right person at the right time? You’ll know. ;)

like you, i only knew my hubby for a little over a year when we got married. pero we both knew what we were in for and we were committed to make our marriage work. yan kasi ang misconception, a lot of young couples think that a marriage is the answer to all other problems and that everything will work itself out. kudos to you and your hubby, many more years of loving-loving for you guys. :)
